Molchanovs Wave 1
Beginner Freediving
If you decided to become a freediver, this beginner course will teach you all the knowledge and skills to build a solid foundation and will take you to a depth between 12-20 meters in a comfortable and safe manner. You will also be introduced to the no-fin technique which only is offered by Molchanovs as part of student courses. Intended for those who have never tried freediving or have experience and want to improve their breath hold time or dives, Wave 1 is where your freediving journey begins and continues upon successful completion with online Base Training.

Requirements

STA - Complete a static breath hold of minimum 1'30".

DYNB - Complete a 30 meter horizontal swim with bifins.

CWTB - Dive to minimum 12 meters with bifins.

FIM - Dive to minimum 12 meters by pulling the rope.

Buddy a freediver to a depth between 6 to 10 meters

Rescue a freediver from a depth of 6 to 10 meters.
